HOW TO REGISTER FOR OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
This page is intended to be a simple and easy to read overview of how to sign up along with what is required of an athlete and their family to be able to compete for Spring Track & Field. Everything you need to sign up for Track & Field is on this page, including instructions and links to websites. REGISTER ON ARBITER SPORTS
First, you will need to sign your athlete up through Arbiter Sports (aka FamilyID). To do this, click the link below to visit Arbiter Sports.
Next, click programs (on the top right of your screen) and you should automatically scroll down to a list of programs. Click “Spring 2025 - Athletics Registration,” scroll down and click “Register Now,” and create an account if you do not already have one. If you create an account, you may have to click the link to ArbiterSports and follow the preceding steps again. Next, click “Track & Field Boys” or “Track & Field Girls.” Then fill out the rest of the required information, press continue, and complete the rest of the steps. Registration is due by March 10 at 3PM.
HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE PHYSICAL
Student-Athletes must have a current and valid physical examination on file with the Athletic Office before participation in any sport, including pre-season. A physical exam is valid for 13 months from the date of the actual exam. This can be uploaded to Arbiter Sports during registration, brought to the Athletics Office (E110) or placed in the Athletics Mailbox in the main office.
COMPLETE THE BASELINE EXAM
The Baseline Exam is important to make sure your athlete is healthy and able to compete in a sport without complications. The athlete will be taking the exam. Soon after registering for a sport on Arbiter Sports/FamilyID, your athlete will receive an email with their customer code. Your athlete will visit the website in the email (also linked below), and then they will enter their customer code when prompted. They will then take the exam. When they complete the exam, students will receive a certificate of completion (the Athletic Office will be automatically notified of the athlete’s completion of the exam). If students' Baseline exam is not valid, they will be asked to take it one more time to make sure the Athletics Office has the best possible information available. If a student’s Baseline Exam is valid at the start of a season, athletes will be able to practice and compete for the entire season.
USER FEE
The fee to register an athlete for a sport at Winchester High School is $350 per athlete (with a family cap of $1400 per year). User fees are due within a week after the start of the season (this season, they are due Monday, March 31). Waiver requests must be mailed or emailed to the Athletic Director. Fees can be paid through a check to Winchester HS Athletics turned into the Athletic Office or on UniBank (linked below).
TAKE THE CONCUSSION COURSES
In order to compete, parents and students must take an online concussion course every athletic year, and students must complete the NFHS Implicit Bias course once during their time at Winchester High School. These courses can be found below.
